Hey gang, how’s everyone doing out there? We hope you’re staying safe and following our hero’s (Fauci & Birx) advice on physical distancing. Sounds like a detective show, ‘Fauci & Birx’, that would be on the USA network right after Psych. If they could solve this one in under and hour, including commercials, it would be amazing. I would even go for a ‘to be continued…’ episode.
We mentioned ‘physical distancing’ instead of ‘social distancing’ because we want you to know that we are still here for all your neighborhood record store needs. We can’t get Olivia Newton John with it currently but we want you to stay in touch with us and tell us what records you’re hunting down. We have a great big selection that we are working to make available online.
We have modified our hours for the foreseeable future and they will now be Wednesday thru Sunday from noon until 5 pm. For ways to order please check out Discogs page or send along record requests to todd@vinyltapnashville.com. We will verify that what you’re looking for is in stock, and then we will get back to you with the payment details and delivery/pickup information. You can pick up records or Todd will be making deliveries in the 37206 and 37216 zip codes this weekend. He is looking forward to dropping vinyl at your doorstep like a Vinyl milkman.
This week we have a bunch of great new releases hitting shelves including a personal favorite Thundercat. If you can’t get down with TC then I really don’t know what to tell you. There’s some other cool stuff on the list this week especially in the reissue section. Does anyone else remember Nightmares on Wax? I can’t believe it turns 25. Along with record delivery, we now have our permit to sell beer to go! That’s right, you can order up a sixer with your new records. Check out the menu on our site for a full list of canned and bottled beer to go. A portion of our beer sales will go directly to our employees who are currently sidelined.
