The 33 1/3 Club is our way of saying thank you to all our record store customers! Every time you purchase new records we give you money back towards the purchase of even more records.
Yes, we know we’re feeding your vinyl addiction. We’re sorry. But our guiding philosophy here at Vinyl Tap has been (and always will be) that there is actually no such thing as “having too many records.” We implore you to live your life in accordance with our teachings.
To start earning money back, just purchase $30 or more of previously unloved (new) vinyl, and we’ll get your account started. Each time you visit and purchase over $30 in new records, we punch your card. When you receive 10 punches, we charge up the rewards card with $33.33 for you to spend on your next visit. The redeemable value is good for any record in the store. Once the card has been redeemed, we’ll start you another and the precious circle of life lives on.
Simple as that.
Small Print
As the great Tom Waits once said, “The large print giveth, and the small print taketh away.” We certainly don’t want to taketh away, but we do want to make sure we clarify the details on how to become a member and redeem the gift card.
New Records refers to records not in the ‘Sale’ or ‘Used’ section.
To get started, just tell the checkout person that you would like to join the 33 1/3 club.
Purchase at least $30 in New Records and get your card activated.
To receive a punch towards your reward you must spend over $30 in New Records. This includes all box sets and 45’s.
It’s one punch per visit per person. The punches are not incremental on each visit.
Once you receive the 10th punch, you can use the card on your next visit for any item new or used.
Club cards cannot be used at the bar for alcohol or food.
