Hot Wax 03.27.2020

This week,

Fresh from the press to your turntable!

How is everyone out there? We hope you’re staying safe wherever you are! We have a bunch of news to share with you so buckle in.

Over the last two weeks we have been in touch with so many of you and we hear you loud and clear. We now have multiple ways for you to get your vinyl fix.

First up is our Discogs page! It just went live and Todd is putting up new releases and classics as fast as he can. If you are not familiar with Discogs please take a minute and check it out. It’s a great way to find records and even keep track of your own collection.

In addition to our Discogs page Todd will be taking orders via his email todd@vinyltapnashville.com. We will verify that what you’re looking for is in stock, and then we will get back to you with the payment details and delivery/pickup information. You can pick up records or Todd will be making deliveries in the 37206 and 37216 zip codes this weekend. He is looking forward to dropping vinyl at your doorstep like a Vinyl milkman.

Along with record delivery, we now have our permit to sell beer to go! That’s right, you can order up a sixer with your new records. Check out the menu on our site for a full list of canned and bottled beer to go. A portion of our beer sales will go directly to our employees who are currently sidelined. If you are looking for another way to help please go to a GoFundMe page set up by our friend Matt.

I have a recommendation for all of you this weekend and it is as follows. (RX from Dr. Jackson if you will)

  1. Order up a sixer and a couple of your favorite records.

  2. Chill out for a bit because Todd will be there soon.

  3. When the package arrives you can open up that beer and put on record #1, side A.

  4. Sit back and take a virtual tour of Vinyl Tap

  5. Take a deep breath.

Is that better?

Hot wax, come and get it…
